Overview
It began as a consortium of 12 public and private organizations committed to championing our regional assets. Hundreds of surveys, town hall meetings and interviews followed and from it a story was forged. We reaffirmed the Toledo Region is a warm, worldly and enterprising place. For years the Toledo Region has designed, created, built and shipped out all types of manufacturing, but it didn’t register with people outside the area—until now. Our story is sharper and more focused and positioned to reach audiences both inside and outside the region—entrepreneurs, site selectors, college students, and leisure tourists. We will show you that the Toledo Region has everything you need to accelerate your opportunities and achieve a fulfilling quality of life. The Northwest Ohio Brand Council’s vision is to make The Toledo Region the destination of choice for tomorrow’s leaders in the New Manufacturing Economy.

About Northwest Ohio Brand Council
In 2009, a group from public and private organizations formed the Northwest Ohio Brand Council to create a set of tools and messages that would promote the Toledo Region. Its mission is to raise awareness and preference for the region in support of its ongoing economic development, education, tourism and quality of life goals.
