Approximately a million and a half people call the Toledo Region home. Of these, around 40% live in the Toledo metropolitan area, the sixth largest in Ohio. Other metro areas in the region center on Fremont and Sandusky.
The region includes many smaller cities as well as towns, villages, rural and natural areas. The Toledo Region borders Lake Erie, Southern Michigan and Eastern Indiana.
