Organizations in the Toledo Region take a strong, collaborative approach to advocating for strong public transportation as well as for well-maintained highways and logistics infrastructure.
At a time of decreased funding for transportation nationwide, the Northwest Ohio Transportation Coalition, a group formed under the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments, has architected a vision and proposed legislation to strengthen and maintain the region’s public transportation amenities.

- Detroit Metro is among the world’s largest air transportation hubs and primary Asian gateway for Delta.
- Clean Fuels Ohio has designated the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority a One-Star Ohio Green Fleet.
